A 10-year-old boy has died following a snowmobile crash near Rosebank, Manitoba.

RCMP say it happened at around 7:40 p.m. on Sunday evening on private property.

Officers learned the boy was operating a snowmobile with a group of family members when he side-swiped a fence causing him to lose control of the snowmobile and collide with a tree.
