Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide after a man was assaulted in the Windsor Park area on Friday.
Police were notified that the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service was providing emergency medical care to the victim in the 900 block of Dugas Street.
Officers arrived to learn the victim had sustained serious injuries in the attack. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
