Winnipeg Mayor Scott Gillingham has shuffled his inner circle and added a new member to the executive policy committee.

Gillingham announced Thursday the addition of Coun. Ross Eadie (Mynarski) to EPC and as chair water, waste and environment committee.

“Councillor Eadie knows this city and the issues that matter to Winnipeggers,” said Gillingham. “His experience, dedication, and practical approach to problem-solving make him a great choice for this position.”

Eadie’s appointment replaces Coun. Evan Duncan, who becomes the chair of property and development.

The changes come one day after longtime Coun. Sherri Rollins (Fort Rouge – East Fort Garry) resigned from EPC.

Gillingham also announced Coun. Markus Chambers (St. Norbert – Seine River) has been named deputy mayor, while Coun. Janice Lukes (Waverley West) will assume the role of acting deputy mayor.
