Manitoba RCMP are investigating a violent robbery in The Pas early Thursday involving two armed men.
Police were called at around 12:50 a.m. to a residence on Head Avenue in the community.
Officers met with the two female victims, aged 72 and 64, who advised that two male suspects broke into their home, shouted “Westside,” and stole cash and a quantity of prescription medication, followed by firing two long-barrelled guns. The shooting caused extensive damage to the home, but no injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as being in their early 20s, wearing all-black clothing and having their faces covered with a mask.
Anyone with information is asked to contact The Pas RCMP at (204) 627-6204 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
