Winnipeg police were involved in a crash between one of their cruiser cars and a school bus on Friday in St. Boniface.
Police say the two-vehicle collision occurred at around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Provencher Boulevard and Rue St. Jean Baptiste.
The First Student Canada school bus was transporting approximately 15 elementary-aged children at the time.
One child was treated and cleared on scene by paramedics, and nobody was transported to hospital. The children were safely transferred to another bus.
One officer sustained minor injuries, but didn’t require further medical attention.
