The Winnipeg Football Club has reported a $7 million operating profit for 2024 and invested $7.1 million into improvements at Princess Auto Stadium.
The club released its annual report on Wednesday, sharing that it contributed $7.6 million to a capital fund for long-term stadium improvements, as outlined in a 2021 agreement with the province and Triple B Stadium Inc. An additional $1 million was allocated to the club’s operating reserve.
“We are very pleased with our overall financial results for 2024,” said Blue Bombers’ president and CEO Wade Miller. “This success reflects the continued support of our season ticket members, corporate partners and fans. They play a fundamental role in the strength of our Club both on and off the field.”
Upgrades at Princess Auto Stadium last year included new turf and field wall, renovations to the Bomber Store, a new Daktronics ribbon board, enhancements on the 200 level, and expanded food options with two grab-and-go concession spots. The outdoor tailgate area saw improvements such as a permanent stage, BBQ shack, and upgraded power and lighting.
Future plans include luxury suites, player amenities, improved HVAC systems, and updated security screening equipment.
