Two people have been charged following a months-long drug trafficking investigation by Winnipeg police.
Police say illicit drugs were being trafficked from a residence in the Burrows neighbourhood. On April 17, officers executed search warrants at a home in the 800 block of Aberdeen Avenue and a south-end storage locker.
Roughly $19,000 in drugs were seized, including cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and prescription pills. Police also recovered a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, a taser-like device, and $2,500 in cash.
Marcel Jules Vauclair, 46, faces 14 charges related to drug trafficking and firearms. He remains in custody.
Nancy Jane Harper, 44, was charged with six drug offences and released on an undertaking.
