A 20-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 83 near Virden, Manitoba.
RCMP say the collision occurred around 10:10 a.m. on April 18. Investigators believe the woman was driving southbound on Highway 83 and was attempting to cross Highway 1 when her car was struck by a westbound pickup truck.
She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries. The 74-year-old man driving the pickup truck was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
