Manitoba RCMP are investigating a fatal house fire that occurred early Wednesday morning in the RM of Clanwilliam-Erickson.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 6 a.m. on Wednesday. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters discovered the body of a 38-year-old man inside the residence.
An autopsy later confirmed that the man died from injuries sustained in the fire.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. Yellowhead RCMP, along with Dauphin RCMP and the Office of the Fire Commissioner, continue to investigate.
