Victoria General Hospital (VGH.MB.CA)
South Winnipeg residents will soon have access to a new extended-hours primary health care clinic at Victoria General Hospital.
The clinic will be open evenings and weekends to offer more flexible care options beginning on Thursday, May 15.
It will operate from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
“This is the third extended hours clinic we’ve opened in Winnipeg, because we know everyone deserves to access primary care, often outside of regular hours,” said Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care Minister Uzoma Asagwara, in a release.
Staffed by a team of physicians, nurses, and care assistants, the clinic will also have access to diagnostic imaging and lab services, allowing many patients to receive complete care in one visit.
Appointments can be booked online at medinav.ca, with limited walk-in spots available.
