A 38-year-old Winnipeg woman has died after falling into the water at Sturgeon Falls near Nutamik Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park on Saturday.
Manitoba RCMP say the woman slipped on rocks around 12:45 p.m. and was swept away by the strong current. Manitoba Conservation officers located her by boat and transported her to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
