The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is inviting residents and visitors to enjoy five signature events this summer aimed at celebrating the season and supporting local businesses.
The lineup includes the Downtown Sounds Concert Series, Outdoor Farmers’ Market, Furry Fridays, Family Movie Night, and Chinatown & Dim Sum Tours.
“From live music and local markets to pet-friendly events and a family movie night, we’re creating moments that bring people together and showcase what makes our neighbourhood unique and special,” said Olivia Billson, director of marketing for Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
Billson highlighted the upcoming reopening of Portage and Main to foot traffic on July 1 and the transformation of Graham Avenue into a pedestrian-friendly hub as two more reasons to head downtown.
