Manitoba drivers can now purchase a Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad specialty licence plate.
The plates, which were first unveiled on Ride Day back in May, are now available at all Manitoba insurance brokers for both passenger vehicles and motorcycles.
Proceeds of $30 from MRFD licence plate sales go to support the Manitoba Prostate Cancer Support Group.
The 17th annual Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad on May 31 drew more than 1,200 riders and raised over $600,000 in support of prostate cancer research and education.
The event’s total fundraising over 17 years now surpasses $5.7 million, with all proceeds remaining in Manitoba.
