Millennium Library, 251 Donald Street (GOOGLE STREET VIEW)
Winnipeg’s Millennium Library was temporarily closed on Thursday following a man’s sudden death.
Police and paramedics were called to the downtown library on Wednesday night at around 7:30 p.m. They located a 40-year-old man with significant injuries.
A police spokesperson says the man was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Police say his death is non-suspicious and didn’t provide further comment on the incident.
It’s unclear when the library will reopen to the public.
