A 13-year-old boy is dead following a shooting Saturday evening in Pimicikamak Cree Nation.
Manitoba RCMP were called to a residence around 5:40 p.m., where the victim had been shot. He was taken to the local nursing station and pronounced dead.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene, and a firearm was seized. Police say they are not looking for additional suspects.
The death is being investigated as a homicide.
