Culture Days Manitoba will return this fall with a multi-week celebration of arts and culture from September 19 to October 12.
Events are planned across the province, including Nuit Blanche in Gimli on September 27, a film festival and outdoor performances in Dauphin, and more than 75 community-led activities in Flin Flon.
In Winnipeg, Nuit Blanche will take place September 27 at venues including the Exchange District, The Forks, St. Boniface and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Highlights include a national broadcast of CBC Radio 2’s “After Dark” with Odario Williams and a commissioned glass installation by artist Warren Carther.
Culture Days Manitoba will also launch new student programming in partnership with the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq, offering high school students tours and discussions on contemporary art and community.
Organizers say the annual festival showcases creativity and resilience in communities across the province.
