A 57-year-old Winnipeg man was killed in a collision involving two semi-trucks on Highway 75 on Saturday.

Manitoba RCMP say the crash happened at around 1 p.m. just south of St. Jean Baptiste. When police arrived, they found the victim lying in the median ditch, with two semi-trucks stopped in the southbound lane.

Investigators determined the victim, who was the driver of one of the semis, had been struck by the other truck while on the highway.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the other semi-truck, a 33-year-old Winnipeg man, was not injured.

RCMP continue to investigate the collision.
