The Winnipeg Goldeyes have re-signed catcher and infielder Kevin Garcia for the 2026 season.

Garcia appeared in 61 games last year, batting .248 with four home runs and 27 RBIs. He played primarily behind the plate, posting a .997 fielding percentage in 48 games, and also saw time at third base.

The 32-year-old will be entering his fifth season with the Goldeyes, having previously played for the club in 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025. Across 227 games with Winnipeg, Garcia has a career batting average of .236 with 10 home runs and 87 RBIs.

Goldeyes manager Logan Watkins said Garcia’s veteran presence and defensive reliability make him an important part of the team moving forward.

Winnipeg now has 16 players signed for the 2026 season. Spring training begins May 3.
