Winnipeg’s Blue Cross Park will host the Country Rising Festival again this summer, headlined by BigXthaPlug.
The one-day outdoor festival on Friday, August 21 will also feature Dylan Monroe and Redferrin, artists blending hip-hop, Southern grit, and contemporary country sounds.
“We’re excited to welcome Country Rising back to Blue Cross Park and bring to Winnipeg a festival that feels fresh, energetic, and rooted in today’s music culture,” said Regan Katz, Winnipeg Goldeyes vice-president and chief operating officer.
“This event brings together great artists, a vibrant atmosphere, and a community experience that’s a perfect fit for our venue and the city.”
Produced by Social House Entertainment — the team behind the Tacos & Tequila Festival — the event promises live performances, line dancing, local food and drink, interactive games, a mechanical bull, and VIP experiences.
Tickets and more information will be available soon at countryrisingfestival.com.
