A 40-year-old Winnipeg man is facing multiple charges after allegedly killing a kitten and throwing a knife at a woman who confronted him about it.

The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on May 2, at an apartment complex in the 400 block of William Avenue. A 43-year-old woman entered a common hallway after hearing a cat in distress and discovered a deceased kitten. When she confronted a male resident she believed was responsible, he threw a kitchen knife at her.
