Two people are dead and a third is fighting for her life following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 68 near Arborg on Friday.
Gimli RCMP responded to the crash at the intersection of Highway 68 and Road 14 East at approximately 3:30 p.m. on May 29. Officers arrived to find the vehicle stopped in a field on the south side of the intersection.
The driver, a 34-year-old Arborg woman, was trapped inside the vehicle and was airlifted to hospital by STARS with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Both passengers — a 38-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, also from Arborg — were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Manitoba RCMP continue to investigate.
