A Roblin man is dead following a two-vehicle collision northwest of the community on Monday afternoon.
Manitoba RCMP responded to the crash at approximately 1:45 p.m. about six kilometres northwest of Roblin at the intersection of Provincial Road 484 and Road 153 North. Police believe a northbound van on PR 484 was struck by a westbound semi-truck on Road 153 North. The intersection has stop sign control for eastbound and westbound traffic.
Officers arrived to find the semi-truck flipped and blocking the road, while the van had sustained significant damage.
The driver of the van, a 42-year-old Roblin man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, a 31-year-old Roblin man, was transported to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
