Boy, 13, Shot Multiple Times on Manitoba First Nation

Manitoba RCMP say a 13-year-old boy is in hospital after being shot multiple times in northern Manitoba early Friday.

Nelson House RCMP responded a report of shots fired behind a building on McDonald Road in Nisichawayasihk First Nation at around 1:45 p.m.

Officers learned the teen suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the incident. He was transported to hospital where he underwent surgery and remains in stable condition.
