A 53-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle collision west of Alonsa, Manitoba.

Police, along with local firefighters and paramedics, responded to the crash on the afternoon of September 4 at the intersection of Highway 50 and Road 122.

Police said the vehicle appeared to fail to negotiate a curve in the road, left the highway, flipped and landed in the ditch.

The driver, from the RM of Alonsa, died of his injuries at the scene.

RCMP continue to investigate.
