The 100 Mile Dinner is a fundraising event hosted every year by BGC Winnipeg, bringing together 500-600 guests for one incredible night to celebrate Canadian food, ingredients, flavour and community.
Guests will enjoy beverages and a multi-course dinner prepared by acclaimed Winnipeg chefs, showcasing ingredients and culinary traditions from diverse regions across Canada: from Manitoba’s prairies to the Atlantic fisheries, British Columbia’s vineyards, Quebec’s forests, and the traditions of the North. More than a dinner, the evening is an opportunity to celebrate the power of food and community to bring people together and create meaningful change.
Most importantly, guests will hear inspiring stories and learn about the impact of BGC Winnipeg’s programs, including the CSI Summer Learning Enrichment Program, which helps children and youth continue learning, exploring, and building skills throughout the summer.
Proceeds from the evening support BGC Winnipeg’s vital programs, providing children and youth with opportunities to learn, grow, connect, and discover their potential through education, recreation, leadership development, and safe spaces where they feel valued and supported.
