The MTS Centre Exhibition Hall won’t be empty long after the current Bodies Exhibition concludes.
A new exhibit highlighting the world’s largest ship, at the time, will take over on February 12, 2011.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will bring visitors back to the calm April night in 1912 when the massive vessel went down after colliding with an iceberg.
Thirteen Manitobans made up the ship’s 2,228 passengers, with more than 1,500 perishing.
Tickets for the exhibit go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster. Prices range from $15.95 to $23.95, depending on the day you choose to visit.
RMS Titanic, Inc., a branch of Premier Exhibitions, Inc. is putting on the display. Premier is also responsible for the semi-controversial Bodies exhibit, which ends in mid-January.
The exhibit will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
