The Winnipeg Humane Society will be waiving the adoption fees on cats all day Friday.
The shelter at 45 Hurst Way has more than 150 cats in its care and is hoping it can find loving homes for the abundance of felines.
The “free fur all” event, as the WHS is calling it, will apply to cats four-months-old and up. Each adoption includes spay/neuter, first vaccines, health exam and an ear tattoo.
The promotion will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
As the regular adoption process will apply, entire families are encouraged to come out and chat with a WHS adoption counsellor to find the most suitable pet to take home.
