New Chair of Public Utilities Board Named

The province on Tuesday named a new chair of the Public Utilities Board (PUB), who takes over for the now-retired Graham Lane.

Régis Gosselin will assume Lane’s duties, and is is the former director of corporate services for the Canadian Grain Commission. Lane will act as a special advisor to the new chair.

The PUB regulates the rates charged by Manitoba Hydro, Manitoba Public Insurance, all water and sewer utilities outside Winnipeg, and natural gas and propane utilities.
