The Assiniboine Park Zoo is still looking for a few ghosts and goblins to volunteer their time at this year’s Safeway Boo at the Zoo.

High school and university students will be participating as witches, werewolves, pirates and more to help put on Winnipeg’s annual family Halloween tradition.

Youth aged 16 or older can still sign up to be cast members. Volunteers wear costumes, masks and makeup provided by APC and act as characters within the theme zones, bringing the displays to life and enhancing the visitor experience. For adults aged 18 years and older, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy is seeking makeup artists and path/parking patrol volunteers.

Volunteers can apply at SafewayBooAtTheZoo.ca.

The 17th annual Boo at the Zoo runs October 18-29 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at local Safeway stores or online.
