
Manitoba Legislative Building (CHRISD.CA FILE)
The public will get the chance to tour the Manitoba Legislative Building this weekend as the provincial government holds its annual open house on Saturday, December 8.
Premier Greg Selinger, cabinet ministers and members of the legislatie assembly will welcome visitors from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The public will be able to view the Blue Room, the lieutenant-governor’s reception room, the office of Speaker of the house, as well as party caucus rooms and offices, the legislative reading room and the clerk of the legislative assembly’s office.
Children’s activities are planned and local high school choirs will perform.
Complimentary festive season photos will be taken in the Rotunda. All those planning to attend are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or unwrapped toy for the Christmas Cheer Board.
