The Winnipeg Art Gallery has appointed Bill Elliott as deputy director.
Elliott retains his current responsibilities as director of finance and operations at the WAG and takes on the responsibility of day-to-day operational oversight under the new title.
“Bill’s ability to identify and improve operations and process efficiencies is an incredible asset to the WAG,” said Dr. Stephen Borys, WAG director and CEO. “He has keen analytical skills that allow him to provide both micro and macro assessments that will serve the WAG well in this position.”
Elliott’s duties will include the gallery’s financial planning, capital projects, and three departments.
