If you’re in the mood for a little jazz over your lunch break, head on over to the University of Winnipeg.
Riddell Hall will house the ArtsFest launch from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., including a performance by the Brian Chipney jazz trio.
The second annual UWinnipeg Artsfest is held in conjunction with the national Culture Days and UWinnipeg’s annual homecoming, which highlights the university’s rich arts and cultural heritage collection.
Highlights include ancient Mexican artifacts, TRAPPED (a solo art exhibition by Willow Rector) and Nuit Blanche. ArtsFest runs today until September 28.
