WINNIPEG — Movie-goers to SilverCity St. Vital Cinemas can now treat themselves to a better kind of seat.
D-BOX motion seats move in conjunction with the action on the big screen and are similar to the seats already enjoyed by guests at SilverCity Polo Park.
The theatre’s second-largest auditorium, which features UltraAVX, will now offer 30 reserved D-BOX seats. Guests can customize their experience by controlling the intensity of the movement produced by their seat, using controls in the seat’s armrest. “Warcraft,” which opens Friday, will be the first D-BOX experience available at the theatre.
SilverCity St. Vital Cinemas is part of a broader agreement with D-BOX Technologies Inc. announced earlier this year, which will see the installation of D-BOX Motion Seats into 23 additional Cineplex auditoriums across Canada in 2016.
