WINNIPEG — The 2017 Canada Summer Games are just over a year away and a celebration is being planned to mark the big countdown.
Countdown to the Games: One Year to Go will be held at The Forks on Thursday, July 28, featuring a free concert series with talented Manitoba artists. Slated to perform is JP Hoe, Leonard Sumner, Kelly Bado, Dirty Catfish Brass Band, and DJ Mama Cutsworth.
Fourteen of the 16 sports represented at the Games will be on-site to host interactive games and activities throughout the evening.
The free public event will be held under the canopy area from 4-9 p.m.
