Renowned Winnipeg chef Mandel Hitzer is lending his culinary talents to serve up an exclusive menu at an upcoming fundraiser for the Victoria Hospital.
Hitzer, co-founder of RAW: Almond, will curate food for the Victoria General Hospital Foundation’s third annual Miracle Garden Party on September 13.
“As part of a bigger community, giving back is a passion of mine,” Hitzer said.
“I am constantly inspired by the way food brings us together, which is why I am excited to be part of this extraordinary evening and help rally our community behind this important cause.”
Funds raised from the event will support mental health at Victoria Hospital.
“Mental health touches all of our lives in some way and we feel strongly that the conversation on mental health needs to continue,” says Glen and Monika MacAngus, co-chairs of the Miracle Garden Party.
“We are proud to support the mental health and well-being of our community and delighted to host our guests in a space uniquely designed to nurture mental, physical and spiritual health.”
