Three Winnipeg co-workers are sharing in a $1 million Lotto 6/49 prize.

Edilberto Santos, Bernard Yumang and Eugenia Santoyo won the guaranteed prize draw on November 9.

“Holy smokes, one million? No way!,” Santos recalled after checking the ticket. “I didn’t believe it until I called customer care and they said, ‘Congratulations!’”

Santos said he would like to save money for his kids and family, but also spend a little.

“I’d also like to take my family on a holiday — perhaps a cruise to Panama.”

Yumang and Santoyo are considering using their winnings to visit the Philippines or vacation in the Caribbean.

Santos purchased the group’s winning ticket at Pop & Shop, located at 132-701 Regent Avenue West in Winnipeg.
