The Winnipeg Jets have some new treats in store for hockey fans this season at Canada Life Centre.
During the off-season, True North Sports + Entertainment undertook several improvements to the game-day fan experience, including the addition of a new house band called Mach 10.
A new stage will feature live pre-game and intermission entertainment in the bowl at every Jets home game, as well as special guest bands, DJs, and cultural performances throughout the season. As part of a $2-million sound system upgrade, fans will enjoy an augmented audio experience for all Canada Life Centre events.
TNSE has also invested in new contactless security screening technology that will help reduce lineups at entry. Guests will no longer need to empty pockets and bags, ensuring the flow of entry will be more seamless, especially during peak entry times for high-attendance events.

Over at the concession stands, there are new sweet and savoury offerings on the menu, including the addition of Carvery Sandwiches and Sweet Spot. Carvery Sandwiches features slow roasted and carved meat sandwiches – such as smoked beef brisket, porchetta Cuban melt, and carved hot herb marinated beef – with sides of housemade kettle chips, mac and cheese, deviled egg potato salad, and rustic pork and beans.
The Sweet Spot features desserts and treats like ice cream, warm cookies, brownies, cake pops and executive head chef Richard Duncan’s grandmother’s own banana bread.
The Jets are also renting single-game premium suites this season within the newly renovated Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Premium Suite Concourse. Fans can check suite availability and make a booking at winnipegjetspremium.com.
Winnipeg’s home opener of the 2024-25 NHL season is Friday night when the Jets host the Chicago Blackhawks. Game time is 7 p.m.
