Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ running back Brady Oliveira has been nominated for two CFL top player awards.
Oliveira has been shortlisted in both the Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Canadian categories for a second consecutive year.
Oliveira, who was selected by The Football Reporters of Canada and CFL head coaches, has had an exceptional season. He led the league in both rushing yards and total yards from scrimmage, recording 1,353 rushing yards with four touchdowns and averaging nearly 80 yards per game. His six games surpassing the 100-yard mark and career-high 57 receptions added 476 receiving yards, bringing his season total to 1,829 yards from scrimmage.
The winners will be unveiled at the CFL’s Player Awards during Grey Cup week in Vancouver.
