The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed receiver Dalton Schoen to a one-year contract, keeping him with the team for the 2025 season. Schoen was set to become a free agent on February 11.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound receiver returns for his fourth season with the Bombers after a knee injury limited him to just three games in 2024. Before the injury, he recorded 14 catches for 159 yards.
Schoen was one of the CFL’s top receivers in 2022 and 2023, racking up 2,663 yards and 26 touchdowns over 34 games. He led the league in receiving yards as a rookie in 2022 (1,441 yards, 16 touchdowns) and was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie. In 2023, he finished with 1,222 yards and 10 touchdowns, ranking among the league’s top receivers.
Before joining the CFL, Schoen had brief stints in the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Washington. He played college football at Kansas State, finishing with 92 receptions for 1,569 yards and nine touchdowns.
