Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews rescued a person from the Red River near the Redwood Bridge Thursday night.
Emergency crews responded around 10:14 p.m., locating the individual in the water and bringing them to shore using rescue boats. Paramedics treated the person on scene before transporting them to hospital in stable condition.
It remains unclear why the individual was in the water or how long they had been there.
