Winnipeg’s Seven Oaks Pool will be closing for repairs beginning on December 14.
The city says the pool’s closure will last approximately 12-14 months. Repairs include concrete/structural work, as well as waterproofing and tile replacement.
The kiddie pool and splash pad will remain open during renovations, except for a six-week period (timing to be determined).
The total cost of the repairs is $3.5 million and are being funded through a provincial recreational program.
