The Keystone Centre in Brandon has launched the Keystone Centre Foundation in partnership with the Brandon and Area Community Foundation.
The new foundation, led by volunteer executive director Barry Cooper, will help sustain and improve the non-profit facility for future generations.
The fund will collect tax-receiptable donations, with interest and capital investments used to support operations, upgrades, and accessibility projects at the Keystone Centre.
BACF president Marc Alain says the initiative ensures the long-term development and community role of the Keystone Centre, which has been a regional gathering place for more than 50 years.
CEO Connie Lawrence also announced two upcoming signature events to promote the foundation and highlight the facility’s past, present, and future: Family Fun Day on Dec 20 and the inaugural Keystone Centre Foundation Dinner on May 14, 2026.
“We are very excited to announce a pair of signature events meant to support the foundation, and bring people in to the process,” said Lawrence.
