The biomes at The Leaf have reopened following a scheduled closure, unveiling a new seasonal exhibit at the Babs Asper Display House.

The “Kaleidoscope of Spring” display runs until June 7 and features a vibrant mix of blooming bulbs, including tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and allium, celebrating the arrival of spring.

According to the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, the exhibit combines colourful floral arrangements with interactive elements such as a large garden kaleidoscope, prisms and glass installations that reflect and scatter light throughout the space.

The display also highlights the science behind how plants use colour and light to attract pollinators and protect themselves.

The exhibit is included with regular admission, with The Leaf open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
