The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have named former player Lee Hull as their new receivers coach.
Hull returns to Winnipeg after an extensive coaching career in the United States. He previously played for the Blue Bombers from 1990 to 1992, recording 33 receptions for 464 yards in his rookie season and catching a touchdown in the 1990 Grey Cup.
The 60-year-old New Jersey native brings head coaching experience at the NCAA level, including stints with Morgan State and Delaware State. He was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference coach of the year in 2014 while leading Morgan State.
Hull has also held assistant coaching roles with the Indianapolis Colts, University of Maryland, Oregon State and Holy Cross, along with offensive coordinator positions at Wagner College and Howard University.
