The Royal Canadian Mint is inviting Winnipeggers to trade in their pocket change for a newly unveiled $2 coin that glows in the dark.

The 2026 $2 commemorative circulation coin is in honour of the 50th anniversary of the CN Tower.

The Mint’s boutique at 520 Lagimodiere Boulevard will host the coin exchange Thursday, May 7 to Saturday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
