One person was transported to hospital on Sunday following a house fire in the 300 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Winnipeg firefighters arrived just before 6 p.m. to find smoke and flames coming from the house.
Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 6:52 p.m. One person was taken to hospital in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
Officials say early indications point to the fire being accidental and related to the home’s electrical system. No damage estimates are available.
