The Winnipeg Goldeyes have been named the American Association’s best overall fan experience of the year.
The award was selected through a league-wide vote involving team directors, general managers and broadcasters, recognizing the overall game-day experience at Blue Cross Park.
The Goldeyes’ offering includes local food and beverage options, family activities, entertainment and postgame fireworks.
“We want people to enjoy the game, discover something they love at the ballpark, and leave already looking forward to their next visit,” said Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier.
The club averaged 4,019 fans per opening in 2026, including the September 11 postseason game, up from 3,807 in 2025 and more than five per cent higher year over year.
The honour comes during a week of recognition for the Goldeyes. The club was also named the American Association’s social media team of the year for a second straight season, while play-by-play broadcaster Trevor Curl was named broadcaster of the year.
