July 19, 2010 6:01 AM CDT | Entertainment

Local, unsigned musical acts are being courted by CURVE 94.3 to submit their song entries to win a slot as the opening performance for MTS Rock on the Range.

The outdoor concert at Canad Inns Stadium is Saturday, August 7 and features an impressive list of rock talent.

Until July 23, artists can visit YouTube.com/MTSEntourage to submit their song entry as part of the “Live Local, Live Loud” contest.

The top three finalists will be interviewed on CURVE, but the grand prize winner will receive a 20 minute opening performance slot at the stadium, an on-air interview and of course, their song played on the radio for all of Winnipeg to hear.

Oh, you’ll also get 10 VIP passes to Rock on the Range as well. No big deal.

The winner will be announced Monday, August 2, 2010.
