The 100th anniversary of Lockport’s St. Andrews Lock and Dam was celebrated over the weekend, complete with a commemoration delivered by a stand-in for former Prime Minister Sir Wilfrid Laurier on Saturday.

The main stage provided free family entertainment all weekend long under bright skies and warm Manitoba air, including performances by the Foster Martin Band, Glenora Pipe and Drum, Fred Penner and Al Simmons.

Headlining acts included Chantal Kreviazuk and George Canyon, with a performance by Sierra Noble on Sunday evening.
