The newly-launched Sports Radio 1290 is bringing some local talent to its programming lineup Saturday mornings.
Starting November 6, the guys from Illegal Curve will host a hockey show from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. every weekend.
Originally starting out as a blog in February 2009, Illegal Curve moved to the airwaves with a weekly show on 92.9 KICK FM.
The show has attracted such guests as Kelly Hrudey, Ron MacLean, Bobby Clarke, Theo Fleury and former Winnipeg Jet Eddie Olczyk.
Sports Radio 1290 was previously 1290 CFRW before flipping formats on September 27.
